General Pricing & Print Format Guidelines

The print size and finish determine the price. For example, a mounted, matted, and framed print costs more than a photo-mounted and matted-only.

Generally, prints are available as;

  • Mounted, matted, and framed with glass or acrylic cover and wall hanging hardware ready to hang or

  • Mounted and matted-only ready to be framed or

  • Rolled in a tube unable to be hung until mounted and framed.

Most photographs are printed in the center of a large piece of photographic paper. For example, an 18” x 12” photo printed on a 24” x 18” piece of photo paper.

Prints are offered in specific sizes and finishes. However, anything is possible. If you have a specific need for a custom size or finish, Contact Us for a quote. We would be happy to talk to you about the options.

Pricing Notes

  1. Posted prices include shipping costs within the continental USA. Call for quotes for other locations.

  2. Paper size represents the total outside dimension of the paper print.

  3. Image size is the size of the image on the paper. For example, a 12” x 18” photograph may be printed on 16” x 20” photo paper, leaving a white border. See the Example Diagram below. An 18” x 12” image on 18” x 12” paper means the print is border-to-border minus a small white bordered edge to make framing easier.

  4. Mat measurement is an outside edge-to-edge dimension. If a print is matted, the outside dimension of the mat is the same size as the paper size and frame size. Mat ‘window’ (opening) sizes will vary depending on the image size. See the Example Diagram below.

  5. Frame size is an inside dimension measurement. For example, a 24” x 36” frame represents the inside or window dimension measurement. It is not the outside or total measurement of the frame. See the Example Diagram below. Frames are available for most prints.

  6. All photographs are printed on gallery-quality archival paper. 100% cotton, 100% alpha cellulose, or natural fiber (bamboo or agave) paper with or without a Baryta layer is used. Paper type is included in the print description. Paper longevity ranges from 100 to 200 years, depending on the specific paper and how the photograph is displayed and stored.

  7. Archival pigment-based ink dyes are used in each print.

  8. All prints are signed and titled. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

  9. Prices are subject to change without notice.
